Any dining experience is improved with music, as long as it's not distracting. Tsunami Lounge makes the music that enhances the overall environment for dining, all while listening to time-tested music.
How We're Different
Tsunami Lounge is an instrumental jazz band that focuses on the melody with solos in service of the song at volumes that enable the audience to do what they came for: enjoy eating, drinking and talking with each other in a great musical environment
Origins of "Tsunami Lounge"
The name Tsunami Lounge was inspired by the numerous tsunami warning signs throughout North Beach in San Clemente, CA. A big graphic of the sign hangs in the garage along with local pictures of the signs.
What And Where We Play
Each member of Tsunami Lounge has a unique and extensive musical background from nearly every musical genre imaginable which lends itself quite nicely to the unique sound and structure of Jazz. We like to play classic jazz standards that have toe-tapping beats and catchy melodies sure to put a smile on your face and a kick in your step.
For the last couple of years we have played at local restaurants and bars, weddings, parties, and corporate events. We still thoroughly enjoy playing to the public for fun Sunday afternoons across from the Ole Hansen Beach Club in North Beach, San Clemente, CA.
